winter weather has it’s hand firmly wrapped around my neck trying to suffocate me. however, i am refusing to let this grey boring weather get me down. i’m going to focus on better things…like when it snowed and it was beautiful. these shots didn’t make it into my thanksgiving post, but they are definitely worthy of their own spot on the blog.
this is right outside my house in watertown, connecticut. i’m wearing a london fog brand coat from the early 80’s that i found for $20 (thrifting gives me life). it’s lined and has this excellent faux fur collar/lapel. the fur’s undertone in the light gives off a darker and more complex color. it almost blends in with the bark on the trees, as you can see. paired with a pair of denim, heat tech, a wool scarf, and a pair of frye boots. boom.
coat – london fog brand
heat tech – (the one and only) uniqlo
denim – armani exchange
black lace up boots – frye
