white out weekend: sunday

SUNDAY
today was dedicated to the beach/water. what an awesome day. nicole, my mom+brother, and i got in the car early this morning and drove to westerly, rhode island. connecticut’s beaches are pretty chill, but the second you get past long island/out of the sound you hit the real tides and beautiful views. we went to the east matunuck beach. it was perfect. it was a warm 80 degrees all day with a sublime breeze. we left the beach around 6 and headed to mystic, connecticut since nicole had never been! we stopped at mystic pizza (obviously) and grabbed some food. i forced nicole to take shots of my outfit after dinner. she got a great shot of my brother and i…it pretty much encompasses our relationship.
i wore a white sheer sweater from jcrew, white club monaco shorts, and my black zara sandals.

i’m headed back to the city tomorrow morning!

weekends like this remind me how much i love new england.
